Partial Discharge Sensor for Switchgear
(AE & TEV composite sensor)
ISAAC-PDS-AETEV-01
Product Overview |
Insulation defects caused by prolonged operation of power facilities including switchboards, power cables, and GIS are some of the main causes of power plant failure. Insulation defects result in partial discharge, which causes the insulation to deteriorate, resulting in power outage.
ISAAC-PDS-AETEV-01 is a combination of Transient Earth Voltage (TEV) sensor and the Acoustic Emissions (AE) sensor, which individually detects and monitors the transient ground voltage produced on the metal surface due to ultrasonic signals and electromagnetic waves generated during partial discharge. |
